Nokia 7 has been unveiled in China after we saw the Nokia 8 flagship from HMD Global, the device mid-ranger with some flagship features and premium body build.
It has a glass body cover aluminum frames, the front is protected by a corning gorilla glass 3. The Nokia 7 is IP54 certified which means it is resistant to both dust and splash just as the Nokia 8.
Nokia 7 packs a 16 megapixels camera with f/1.8 aperture lens and comes with ‘bothie’ camera mode, this is a “Dual-Sight mode” which uses both front and rear cameras simultaneously. On the front is a 5 megapixels camera for selfies.
HMD Global claims users can go live on Facebook from within the camera app and use the “Dual-Sight mode” in the new Nokia 7 smartphone.

Nokia 7 boasts a 5.2 inches screen with a full HD display, the resolution is set at 1080 by 1920 pixel, it has 4GB and 6GB RAM versions with internal storage space of 64GB, it can be expanded to up to 256GB with micro SD card but there is no dedicated slot so it uses the SIM 2 slot.
You get Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box with planned upgrade to Android 8.0 Oreo, a the helm is an Octa-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A53 processor and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chipset, Adreno 508 is on board for graphic processing on the Nokia 7.

Nokia 7 commands about 135,000 naira price tag in Nigeria which is about 378 USD (launching price) for the 4GB RAM variant, the 6GB RAM model sells for roughly 145,000 naira in Nigerian currency (407 USD). Prices may vary according to your location or region.
The device will be available for purchase from October 24th in China, its availability in other countries is not yet confirmed.
